Financial Assistance Scheme

Students who require financial support for school fees, textbooks, uniforms or meals are strongly encouraged to apply for financial assistance. 


To be eligible for FAS, the applicant should be a Singapore Citizen and meet the following criteria :

Income Criteria

Gross Household Income not exceeding $2,750 per month;


Per Capita Income of $690 per month

Note : Per Capita Income = Total household income divided by number of household members.


Financial assistance benefits for both schemes include the following :



School Fees

Full waiver of $5.00 per month

Miscellaneous Fees 

Full waiver of $10.00 per month


Free (based on booklist)

School attire

Free school uniforms

Transport Subsidy

$120 transport credits per annum for students taking public transport (prorated according to the  month of approval) 


In addition, students on FAS will also receive meal subsidies and subsidies for enrichment programmes. 

The FAS application form can be obtained from the school’s General Office. Applicants are to submit the completed form with relevant documents to the General Office. Applications are accepted year-round and are approved on a yearly basis.

Students who are Singapore Permanent Residents or International Students may be eligible for other forms of financial assistance.

Helping needy students to access technology

Support for students from low-income households to own a new computer is available through the NEU PC Plus Programme. This is a support programme by the Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) that helps needy families with school-going children own a brand new computer/laptop (bundled with free 3-year broadband subscription) at a subsidised rate. 

To apply, please fill in the application form and submit it with the required documents to the school’s General Office.
